In addition to the Business, Medical, and Technical markets, McGraw-Hill Professional is a publishing and content leader in Education and Test Prep and in Consumer categories such as health and self-help.McGraw-Hill Professional has an outstanding opportunity for a Marketing Manager, focusing exclusively on: Nursing, Health Professions, and Medical, based in our New York office.  The Marketing Manager will create and implement marketing plans that drive sales for nursing and allied health books with a major emphasis on building effective marketing programs to faculty end users. Essential Accountabilities include:  Trade Shows: Manage and attend nursing conventions. Product Management: attend pre-ed board and reprint meeting to forecast sales, and to contribute to product development Academic Marketing: develop and implement marketing programs to drive adoptions of nursing and allied health textbooks Demand generation: develop strong outreach to end users of nursing and allied health content including: developing and implementing marketing plans, development of robust online outreach, building strong database of end users, creation of  flyers, press releases, email, marketing websites, web banners and other promotional pieces Develop and manage appropriate partnerships that increase visibility of MH nursing and allied health product and overall outreach to end user community. New Product Launches & Sales Meetings Manage marketing activates for approximately 25 frontlist titles and 75 backlist titles. ·  Bachelors Degree·  Minimum two years of marketing experience or two years sales experience selling Higher Education textbooks to faculty·  Pro-active, self-directed and detail oriented·  Ability to travel·  Excellent computer skills especially Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint·  Organization, analytic and verbal and written communication skills a must·  Ability to analyze markets and customer needs and develop marketing plans and product recommendations based on these needs·  Time management and ability to prioritize tasks·  Ability to organize and work with in-house departments (creative, publicity, direct marketing, conventions, technology group) to accomplish goals·  Preferred:o Knowledge of multi-channel marketingo Online marketing experience strongly preferred McGraw-Hill Education:  Where The World Learns to Succeed.  The McGraw-Hill Companies is an equal opportunity employer.  Copyright 2008 The McGraw-Hill Companies.
