The Company also authors more than 200 print and software titles on test preparation, college and graduate school selection and admissions, and related topics.

 

JOB SUMMARY:

The Marketing Director will manage strategic planning, development, and execution of the marketing, sales, advertising, and communication functions within the Columbus territory (includes Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia).  The Marketing Director is also responsible for managing the marketing budget and working in tandem with the Operations team. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Develop and execute local sales and marketing plans (in conjunction with Executive Director) designed to attain revenue and sales targets for high school and graduate test prep courses, tutoring and partnerships, as well as to support national marketing initiatives

2. Develop and maintain local marketing plan/calendar to exceed revenue and enrollment goals.

3. Supervise and hire regional part-time on-campus representatives at universities and colleges.

4. Support rollout of new products as developed by HQ R&D

5. Develop and manage annual marketing budget and strategies to meet revenue and enrollment targets.
6. Plan and coordinate marketing and sales goals, events, and initiatives.
7. Drive growth in the Columbus territory to 15% YOY.
8. Aggressively develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the Columbus territory.
9. Oversee development of schedules and locations for all retail courses to maximize enrollment and revenue growth.
10. Track revenue and enrollment growth and implement and execute strategic plans for under-producing areas.
11. Oversee local competitive analysis and provide input to regional and national marketing teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's Degree.
2. Minimum of two years experience in marketing and sales.

2. Proven success in growing business revenue.

3. Proven leadership, management, and organizational skills.
4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
5. Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure, fast-paced work environment.
6. Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.

7. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills.

8. Willingness to travel regularly throughout Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia.

9. Ability to take initiative, motivate others, and contribute to growth of the business.
