Manager of Curriculum

Under limited supervision this position is responsible for the overall vision of education by providing direction on new learning styles and new pilot programs while developing and implementing curriculum offerings/instructional practices that support high levels of student achievement.Requirements: A thorough knowledge of curriculum and instructional design as normally obtained through the completion of a masters degree in education or a related field. Doctorate preferred. Teaching or school administration experience preferred.Management and leadership experience in a business environment; experience in a for-profit education environment, a content company, publishing company, tutoring services business, or similar experience is preferred.Must be able to demonstrate a high level of conceptual and strategic thinking and attention to detail in order to establish, goals, objectives, activities, policies and procedures, as described above.Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the impact growth and scale have on operational processes.
