Manager of Corporate Relations

MANAGER OF CORPORATE RELATIONS, Center for Transportation and Logistics (CTL), to coordinate and work with all CTL partners in all activities. Will be responsible for the growth, maintenance, and service of CTL's industrial outreach programs. These are primarily, but not limited to, the CTL Supply Chain Exchange partners. Will maintain and enhance current partner relationships and generate new partnerships, and manage the business development process to closure for externally-generated sales leads. CTL conducts research, outreach, and educational activities with a number of different companies, organizations, and governments. These include fifty corporate sponsors of its Supply Chain Exchange as well as various hosting governments/organizations for its three international Global SCALE (Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence) centers in Europe, Asia, and South America.



REQUIREMENTS: a bachelor's degree in transportation, logistics, business administration, or related field; a minimum of three years' relevant experience with supply chain management, logistics, and/or transportation and global supply chain issues; ability to work both independently and in collaboration with a team; excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills; and the ability to relate effectively with faculty and researchers and manage relationships with executives in large corporate environments. Competence with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required. Experience with Salesforce software preferred. MIT-00007929
