Summary: The Manager, Educational Services evaluates stipulations contained in Request For Proposals; researches current Federal and state codes, rules and regulations. Creates monitoring systems to evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and compliance with relevant guidelines and contractual obligations. Develops and monitors administrative systems and procedures. Assists in the preparation and management of educational program functions, conducts master level instruction training for teachers and assists in developing curriculum. The Manager, Educational Services works closely with representatives from Mexico to oversee CCA’s Adult Education in Spanish programs.
Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in education or related field. Three years of full-time professional work in education which includes at least one year of education administration or supervisory work. Additional qualifying graduate course work may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of two years. There is no substitution for the required year of administrative and supervisory experience. Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Frequent U.S. travel required. A valid driver’s license is required.
A minimum of two years experience as an educator or programs administrator in a correctional setting preferred. Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
