Lead and Assistant Teacher - Early Childhood
The YWCA of Dayton Day Care Services is currently seeking both a Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher for our Toddler Room, as well as, an Assistant Teacher for our Preschool.

Lead Teacher
Responsibilities:Â
Direct all aspects of the classroom curriculum and activities; supervise and guide child's development in a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements:Â
Lead Teacher must have Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field from an accredited college or university; two years experience in early childhood field
Â
Salary: Starts at $24,497.00

Assistant Teacher
Responsibilities:Â
Direct all aspects of the classroom curriculum and activities; supervise and guide child's development in a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements:Â
Assistant Teacher must have High School Dipolma and State of Ohio Driver's License.Â

Salary:Â $8.00 / hourÂ

About Us:
The YWCA of Dayton Day Care Services offers child care for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age. The daily program offers developmentally appropriate activities for the children.
Â
The child care facility is open weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We have degreed, professional staff who provides full day care services to infant through preschool aged children.
The Child Care program provides experiences that enhance and enrich each child's cognitive, language, social, emotional, physical and creative development. Within the center's daily schedule, each child has opportunities to create, to explore the environment, to develop problem-solving and personal interaction skills and to develop concepts through experiences.

Children develop a positive self-concept through a balance of self-directed activities and teacher-assisted, "hands-on" activities. Opportunities for solitary play, as well as group activities, are provided.
