Most recently, the company was taken private with Morgan Stanley Private Equity purchasing a 60 percent stake on June 25, 2008. What You'll Do As a Lead Teacher

 

As a Lead Teacher, you will:

 Supervise the classroom, helping the children to think creatively, to solve problems independently and respect themselves and others.Maintain a clean, orderly classroom and center.

What You'll Do As an Assistant Teacher

 

As an Assistant Teacher, you will:

 Assist in planning and implementing the daily program.Help with meal and snack preparation, feeding children and modeling table manners.Help maintain a clean, orderly classroom and center.

What You'll Need to be a Lead Teacher

 

In order to be considered for this position, you must meet all State licensing requirements including:

 Associates degree in early childhood, child development or related field OR Child Development Associate Credential; or 9 college credits in early childhood, child development or a related field with a plan leading to a child development associate credential and two years of experience related to caring for children. Teachers for infant/toddlers also must have one year specific training and/or experience in infant or toddler care which may be demonstrated by obtaining an infant toddler child care credential. Teachers for school age children must also have an associate’s degree in Child Development, recreation or related field OR High school diploma or equivalent and two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age.

What You'll Need to be an Assistant Teacher

 

In order to be considered for this position, you must meet all State licensing requirements including:

 Must be at least 18 years of age.High school diploma or equivalentSubstantial experience working with children under 13 years of age.  Experience working in a licensed child care center preferred.
