K-12 Educational Sales

ScholarCentric Sales Representative Position Description

About ScholarCentric

ScholarCentric is a young K-12 educational publishing company focused on ensuring that students can tackle a rigorous curriculum and succeed in their future endeavors.

Our founder, Steven Weigler, began his career as a juvenile prosecutor in Miami, Florida. He had first-hand experience in seeing the societal consequences resulting from at-risk kids who did not graduate from high school. Thirteen years later, with the current national policy and press focused on shocking student drop-out statistics, he saw a dearth of effective educational products focusing on at-risk youth. This led him to research the issue and interview numerous curriculum developers, school counseling experts, and vocational and school psychologists before finding Dr. V. Scott Solberg professor at the University of Wisconsin/Milwaukee, and his applied research.

In 2004, ScholarCentric began working with Dr. Solberg to publish his successful drop-out prevention program, Success Highways, and make it available to schools nationwide.  The cornerstone of Success Highways is a unique assessment which along with a professionally designed curriculum and professional development, allows teachers to use their relational base to increase academic resiliency.
