Interior Design Faculty – Full-time

 

Be a part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing a solid foundation for tomorrow’s interior designers.  Share your talent as a full-time faculty member at The Art Institute of Washington in our growing BFA program.  We are accredited by SACS and are pursuing CIDA accreditation. 

 

Candidates must have strong studio skills to teach a variety of upper and lower-level studio classes and other subject areas as needed.  Required qualifications include a terminal degree in interior design, architecture or a closely related field, and professional practice, teaching experience and/or NCIDQ certification (can be in process).  Preferred qualifications include: at least one degree in interior design, proficiency with AutoCAD and other technology, active affiliation with professional design organization(s), familiarity with CIDA accreditation standards. Our program offers a BFA degree and is in the process of preparing for a CIDA accreditation site visit.
