Interim College Library Director!
We are currently searching for an experienced Librarian who can step in as the interim Library Director at a prestigious four year liberal arts college located in beautiful downtown Annapolis. The curriculum includes study in the classics of literature, philosophy, theology, psychology, political science, economics, history, mathematics, laboratory sciences, music, and the visual arts. This person will be responsible for maintaining the day to day operations of the library, including, but not limited to: purchasing, budgeting, policies, and systems. The Library Director will manage a staff of 3 other Librarians, as well as a small contingent of student workers. The ideal candidate has his or her MLS degree and at least 3-5 years of library experience; academic preferred, but not required, as well as some supervisory experience. This could be a wonderful opportunity for someone in between jobs, or someone looking to keep busy and remain in a library setting after retirement, as the job can most likely be done on a part-time basis.
