Everest University - Melbourne, FL Campus Req # 08-0414  Responsibilities include: Provide quality delivery of course information in a participatory, interact format based on approved program curricula Provide guidance and academic support to students to facilitate successful course completion Maintain a teaching assignment for class Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus/outline provided, to assure course content and objectives are met. Distribute a copy of the class calendar to all students at first class meeting Utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of students Design, administer and grade examinations to assess achievement of course objectives as identified in the syllabus Comply with all institutional, accrediting, and regulatory agency policies and procedures Actively work to maintain retention in all classes taught, by maintaining accurate attendance records daily, calling all students who are absent, and recording absentee information in roster after each class meeting and communicating attendance "concerns" to the Program Chair or DOE Requirements: Qualified candidates for Medical Education Classes, must have appropriate experience and/or certification in the field being taught. Degree required in some cases.
