Instructor - Massage Therapy

Everest University - N Orlando, FL Campus  Req # 08-1109  We are looking for experienced Massage Therapists to teach day and/or evening classes for our Massage Therapy program.  Monday - Thursday 20 hrs week. Responsibilities include: Maintain a teaching assignment for each module Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus/outline provided, to assure course content and objectives are met. Distribute a copy of the module calendar to all students at first class meeting Utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of students Design, administer and grade examinations to assess achievement of course objectives as identified in the syllabus Actively work to maintain retention in all classes taught, by maintaining accurate attendance records daily, calling all students who are absent, and recording absentee information in roster after each class meeting and communicating attendance "concerns" to the Program Chair or DOE Be available to advise students, tutor and provide other assistance as needed Requirements: Qualified candidates should have: Must be a LMT, preferably with teaching experience Respect and caring for both the massage profession and students a necessity Ability to train students in proper body mechanics, relaxation and clinical massage Apply diverse teaching methods to students of various ages and learning styles.
