Instructional Designer Needed to Develop Centra Classes (Virtual)

Keywords: ID, curriculum designer, instructional developer, curriculum developer, learning management system, WebEx We are working exclusively with our client in locating an Instructional Designer to take existing classroom content and redesign it into live online virtual classroom training via the Centra format and to create an implementation guide for the instructor. In this role, you will also create CBT modules for post Centra sessions follow up training.  The CBT tool used internally is a "home grown" CBT authoring tool. The content as it exists now is delivered in 5 classroom sessions.  Each of those "classes" is to be converted into a Centra learning module.  Requirements: 3+ years of Instructional Design experience Previous experience in designing training for Centra delivery Previous experience converting instructor led content into live virtual training Experience in Flash and graphic simulations Familiarity with creating training on general business topics such as "how to create a business plan", "setting business goals", "hiring staff", "internal communication skills training", etc. Familiarity with the virtual classroom tools (WebEx/Centra: Polling/breakout rooms etc). Work samples  Start Date: Last week of September Duration: TBD upon consultant’s assessment of duration of the project Location: Sleepy Hollow, NY preferred.
