Advancement Services Assistant
Job Function:
This position reports to the Director of Advancement Services. It is a full-time position responsible for Data entry, mail, mailing lists, events, gift processing and research. The position reports to the Director of Advancement Services.
Responsibilities:
Data Entry of information into Banner, MS Excel, and MS Access.
Mail
Research returned mail, and update information in Banner and MS Excel
Weekly delivery of mail between the Campus and the Walnut Office.
Mailing Lists
Code Constituents and Prospects to specific Mailing Lists
Enter new and update existing event attendees in Banner
Mail merge letters, mailing lists, and correspondence as requested
Events
Assemble invitations and other communications materials for distribution
Print Name Tags
Gift Processing
Copy gift processing package
Assemble Gift Receipt/Thank You Letters, and put in the mail
File Hardcopy in Advancement Files
Research
Perform research on Constituents and Donors
Other data entry and clerical functions as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Intermediate-level MS Excel skills
Knowledge of MS Access
Organizational Skills Required
Detailed/Accurate
Team-oriented
Banner experience a plus
3-5 years of Office Experience
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
