The Teacher’s responsibility is vital to the success of the classroom curriculum, and the care given to the children.  Along with their fellow teachers, the teacher will work toward effective integration of the program in their teaching.  Teachers will work together to develop classroom lessons, which involve the integration of the curriculum to enhance the learning experience for the children.  Teachers are involved in parent/child communication.

 

Teachers will participate in as many staff development sessions as possible to increase their skills and experience for making the program integration in the classroom a reality.  We welcome a committed, dedicated, fun loving, hard working individual to bring their talents and skills to our children and families.

 

Candidates must have:

Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related fields

EEC certification as a teacher

At least 1 year experience in a classroom setting

Must be loving, kind, reliable, energetic, and enjoy working with children

Strong communication skills a must

 

We are also seeking an AMI or AMS trained Infant, Toddler and Primary directresses for immediate openings. The successful candidate will have infant/toddler certification in addition to an undergraduate degree, experience teaching in a Montessori classroom, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experience developing and implementing curricula, and a demonstrated commitment to personal growth.
