General Maintenance Worker
General Maintenance Worker
(Full-time, 7:00- 3:00 p.m.)
Mount Ida College is accepting applications for a full time position in the Physical Plant department for a General Maintenance Worker. Job duties will include a variety of general laborer and maintenance responsibilities with a major focus on setting up rooms for events and college functions (i.e. setting up tables, chairs, podiums, etc.) and moving and transporting furniture and college equipment. Will be required to work indoors and outdoors and will also assist with other maintenance duties as necessary.
Must be able to lift and move heavy furniture and able to perform and assume on-call duties. Ability to work independently and prior maintenance or relevant experience is required.
