We seek a Future Student Coordinator to contact all students for upcoming start to confirm they have completed the financial aid process, have submitted all required documents, have obtained all information regarding housing, have saved required front money, determined reliable transportation, and know about registration/orientation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Initiate change in student status requested by those students who are present at the campus.
Coordinate and participate in the registration/orientation process.
During registration week, key registered students in SMART daily; call those registered students who did not attend classes; and, after fifth day process those students who did not attend as cancels or postpones.
Maintain constant communication with representatives and the home Future Student Coordinators to resolve student issues and to ensure that students start as scheduled.
Participate in accountability/turn-over meetings with the home team to review students.
Clearly document communication with students by inputting comments in SMART.
Identify and resolve problems as to why student did not attend.
Accurately predict future starts, working in conjunction with home Future Student Services beginning six weeks before class begins.
REQUIREMENTS:
1 year of prior customer service experience
Previous office experience preferred
Must have good organizational and communication skills
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Fluency in Spanish preferred
