Full-Time Testing Coordinator
POSITION: Testing Coordinator
HOURS/STATUS: Full-time non-exempt (40-hrs/week to include occasional weekends)
REPORTS TO: Dean of Student Services & Career Services
START DATE: As soon as possible
LOCATION: West Campus
Under the immediate supervision of the Dean of Student Services, this individual will have the following essential job functions and responsibilities:Administer entrance and proficiency tests for all programs, including CPAT, Accuplacer, and TEAS, and record resultsAdminister professional certification exam testing for BBA and Professional Skills Center programs and record resultsCoordinate testing schedule with admissions and faculty and ensure backup personnel as neededManage testing calendar for adjustments and schedule and communicate to allCoordinate pre and post-testing in math and English with instructional staff, assure testing is covered and record and summarize resultsGenerate reports showing testing results and trends using Banner, Excel, and other softwareManage and order tests and supplies as necessary to assure enough tests are availableProvide data entry of testing in banner system.Input attendance, course information and student address changes in banner as back-up to registrar as neededInput testing scores in new student spreadsheetFiling of test results and other confidential student information in student foldersOther duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications/Competencies Required:Bachelor’s degree requiredCollege admission testing experience helpfulExceptional interpersonal, customer service and ability to solve problems requiredComputer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and comfort with learning new systemsAbility to maintain confidentiality, identify and report on trends, maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and build and promote strong relationships with students, faculty, and associates in all departmentsFlexible, ability to meet multiple demands in a fast-paced environment
