Fixed Asset Accountant

St. George's University, located in Grenada, West Indies began more than a quarter century ago and has since expanded its program offerings to include a School of Veterinary Medicine and a School of Arts and Sciences. Although the main campus is located in Grenada, the University has affiliations worldwide, with some of the administrative support offices located in Long Island, New York.

Daily responsibility of all activities related to fixed assets. 

Responsibilities will include:Tracking of fixed assets and preparing depreciation entries for monthly close.  Assist with physical inventory reconciliations.  Monitor and enforce fixed asset policies.  Prepare related asset reports for management. 

Requirements:Must be capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paces environment. Must have strong computer skills in Excel with knowledge of Access a plus
