Financial Planner
A leading provider of online, career education seeks qualified candidates to join its financial team in the role of Financial Planner. Under general supervision, key deliverables will include:Assisting students with the completion of required financial aid documents Collecting supporting documents and documentation Educating and counseling students on various options for financing tuition expenses as well as financial aid rules, regulations and default management Proper follow up with students to answer questions and develop expectations of the process
Direct experience in financial aid is preferred however candidates with 1-3 years experience in a banking, financial consulting and technical customer service are encouraged to apply. Those that possess a minimum typing speed of 25wpm and familiarity with MS Word and Excel will have a greater chance for success in this role.
A minimum of an Associate's degree is required
Financial acumen and Customer focused service skills are required!
This position will be located at our Riverchase loation.
