For an exciting career with many possibilities, as a Financial Aid Officer at Texas School of Business-Houston North Campus you will be conducting individual counseling for students and their families. You will use your skills to analyze and exercise judgment in conducting a federal need analysis, verification and initial packaging for the processing of Title IV aid applications. You will work with a dedicated team under direction of the Director of Finance. If you believe in “building futures one success story at a time,” you will thrive here. Job DutiesJob Duties include:1. Financial Aid Initial Processing.a. Interview prospective students using the format of the “mini – interview.”b. Complete needs analysis and develop estimated award letter.c. Distribute document list for student to bring for final FA appointment. 2. Financial Aid Final Processinga. Collect information from students (FAFSA, IFAA, Tax Documents, Identification documents, etc.) and input into data base.b. Process and complete FA documents for Dept of Education vouchering. 3. ISIR’s/Verification/”C” Code Resolution.a. Update data base with receipt of ISIRb. Complete verification  for studentsc. Complete “C” code resolution 4. Loan Processinga. Originate loans utilizing process guidelines, print promissory notes as needed for signature.b. Manifest loans upon completion by borrowers 5. Maintain data basea. Enter student information into data baseb. Scan and link documents to students’ files.c. Run missing document lists 6. Reports/Reportinga. Assist Director of Financial Aid with reports as requested Requirements2 years financial aid experience a plus Organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask.
