Currently Parker College of Chiropractic is accepting applications for a full-time Financial Aid Advisor in the Enrollment department. This position will report directly to the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid.

Job Objectives
Â
To audit and reconcile all Federal and State funds; to monitor and oversee default management and scholarships for incoming and continuing students and advise students on budget adjustments and private loans, consolidation, and miscellaneous projects as needed
Â
Job Responsibilities:
 Review Budget Adjustments/ Professional Judgments.
·        Advise students on sources of funds.
·        Gather necessary documents.
·        Certify loans as needed.
·        Maintain Budget Adjustment Database.
·        Update student files and award packages.
 Oversee Default management.
·        Provide counsel to students who are delinquent or in default.
·        Maintain Default Management Database.
·        Maintain Cohort Default lists including Perkins, HEAL, TG, etc.
·        Manage skip trace reports for various lenders.
 Manage Scholarship Applications for Incoming and Continuing students.
·        Maintain Scholarship Database.
·        Notify students of Scholarships and deadlines.
·        Print and file Parker Scholarship applications.
·        Prepare applications for committee meetings.
·        Notify students of committee decisions.
 Process Work study declines/ increases.
·        Review Student file.
·        Notify Student of decision.
·        Update student file and award package.
·        Notify payroll dept of increase.
 Audit, reconcile and process all Title IV Federal and State funds in compliance with regulations Establish and maintain system-wide parameter and tables to provide accurate information for mandated Federal and State financial aid programs. Certify and process all student loan records, prepare rosters for business office and reconcile all funds. Maintain integrity of PowerFaids and Jenzabar modules. Provide counsel to students regarding lifetime loan limits, loan history and future eligibility Assist Financial Aid counselors with projects as needed. Assist Director with reports and projects as assigned. Participate in Orientation for the DC and UG programs. Participate fully in the growth of the department by meeting personal and departmental goals. Other duties as assigned. Adhere to Departmental dress codes. Department regulations for appearance and dress take precedence over campus-wide dress codes.

 Display good communication and customer service skills- written and verbal Practice good time management skills Work effectively and efficiently under pressure Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required Knowledge of Jenzabar and PowerFaids financial aid software preferred

Bachelor’s Degree and Financial Aid experience preferred.Â
