From T-Rex to insects, the Natural History Museum is the crown jewel of Los Angeles museums and the largest of its kind in the Western United States. You can be part of this treasured institution in your role as a FAMILY PROGRAMS ASSISTANT COORDINATOR.
You will help manage, plan, coordinate and implement the fun-filled Overnight Adventures Sleepover Program at the Museum. This entails:
Supervising volunteers, ensuring safety, reserving booking dates and interfacing with procurement for supplies, while meeting budgetary guidelinesYou will also collaborate with Adventures in Nature, our week-long science classes.
Qualifications include:A Bachelor's in Museum Studies, Education or a preferred field of studyValid CA driver's licenseBasic computer skills (Mac preferred)Refined organizational, prioritization and multitasking skillsGood energy level for active engagement
