The Opportunity
Come lead our retail and school-based business operations as the Executive Director in our Dallas, TX office. This is the ideal opportunity for a general manager looking to run a successful multi-site, multi-million dollar operation while leading a driven and motivated staff. You’ll be immersed in a unique culture serving college and graduate school-bound students and lead a team of intelligent, dedicated, and talented marketing, operations, and teaching professionals.
You will be responsible for running every key aspect of the business, including building new and maintaining existing client relationships. This position reports to the Regional Vice President, and oversees sales and operations efforts in Northern Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Employee Development and Management
§ Direct management of all full time office personnel, creating an environment in which employees can grow, are focused on attaining key objectives, and feel a sense of satisfaction with their job and the company.
P&L Management
§ Complete P&L responsibility for the office, including achieving revenue and gross margin goals, and hitting profitability targets
Financial Planning and Budgeting
§ Create, manage and drive annual budget to meet or exceed financial targets, including projecting and managing revenue and course enrollment, cost of sales, advertising, and G&A expenses.
Marketing
§ Plan, manage and execute local marketing initiatives, promotions, campaigns, and events via a dedicated staff of local Marketing Directors and Managers.
Course Operations
§ Lead Course Operations team and Instructors to ensure delivery of high-quality courses to students, with the goal of meeting/exceeding quality metrics and student score improvements. Continuously identify areas for improvements in service, staffing and operations that will increase customer satisfaction and efficiency.
Customer Service
§ Direct all initiatives to provide on going quality service to enrolled students, and ensure the voice of the customer is heard within the office.
Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree (in Business or Marketing preferred)
· At least five years of management experience in a service-oriented environment.
· Strong entrepreneurial and competitive spirit.
· Excellent leadership and organization skills.
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
· Strong communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills.
· Willingness to travel when necessary.
