The Opportunity:Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative and detailed individual for our Employee Development Manager position. Employee Development Manager Responsibilities: Design, develop and manage innovative programs to teach and reinforce SEL philosophy and business culture. Design, develop, promote, and deliver training that supports leadership, operational and employee development needs. Identify supervisory and management training needs. Provide needed training to all current and future leaders. Assist supervisors and managers in developing specialized training programs. Lead and develop Employee Development staff. Manage special projects as assigned. Actively model SEL values and culture of quality and excellence. Identify, measure and improve training and educational processes.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience Minimum 7 years experience in design and delivery of training in a corporate environment Minimum 7 years experience managing leadership and employee development programs Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in team environment Ability to effectively interface with executive management Proficient in MS Office products and training design/development software Background check results satisfactory to SEL Negative drug test result(s) Preferred Qualifications: Development and delivery of innovative leadership training Graduate degree or equivalent experience in organizational development or human performance management An Award Winning Company Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.
