The South Amboy School District located in Middlesex County is an established well-regarded school district of 1100+ preschool to twelfth grade students with a quality staff committed and dedicated to our children. The South Amboy School District anticipates the following openings for the 2011-2012 school year. Administration School Business Administrator/ Board Secretary Seeking highly motivated candidates for this 12 month position: * Valid New Jersey School Business Administrator certification * Comprehensive knowledge and experience in school budgetary control and financial reporting and accounting procedures consistent with statute, code and GAAP requirements * Comprehensive understanding of the duties of Board Secretary pursuant to N.J.S.A.18A:17-5 et. seq. * Knowledge of statutory requirements and accepted practices in school district related to insurance, purchasing, transportation, food services, grants, school plant operations, and facility planning * Demonstrated leadership ability * Strong analytical, communication and organizational abilities
* Experience in Systems 3000 – Fund Accounting preferred
