Educational Support Teacher

The Philosophy Day School is looking for an experienced Educational Support Teacher to work one-one-one with a child(s) with academic difficulties in Grade 1 for the 2008-2009 academic year in the mornings only Monday-Friday. We are seeking enthusiastic educators committed to the goals and mission of the school: to provide a classical education that helps students develop honesty, integrity, character and a life-long love for the pursuit of wisdom as a foundation for a happy, successful and generous life.

 

Knowledge of and experience in the following curriculum areas is a plus: Lucy Calkin’s Writing Program, Fountas and Pinnell’s Reading, Writing and Workstudy programs and Everyday Mathematics.
