Alternative education. Creative curriculum. As an Education Supervisor/Coordinator at one of our programs, you’ll help children go beyond the limitations of textbooks and rigid lesson plans. It’s an extraordinary opportunity to implement student curricula, ensure the development of balanced educational programs, and improve the quality of the learning process program-wide. You’ll maintain the school's accreditation, supervise teaching staff, establish education goals for youth entering our facility, and work to reintegrate program graduates into local school systems. You’ll do more that teach them…you’ll reach them. Bachelor’s Degree required, in education preferred. Masters Degree preferred. A minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role or two years of teaching experience. Basic skills instruction, development and use of learning centers, experiential education, needs of exceptional students. Ability to restrain youth in accordance with approved techniques. Must interface effectively at all organization levels and have commitment to professional standards and personal development. Must meet state criminal background check requirements.
