Education Director
4C of Southern Indiana, Inc. is seeking a dynamic, positive leader to serve in the position of Education Director. The Education Director is directly responsible for: quality control of training and education, maintaining advanced knowledge of provider professional development and financial opportunities, leading and supervising a team of early childhood professionals and provider recruitment.

The ideal candidate will be able to see the big picture while managing staff and providing oversight to programs. Â Candidate should be able to identify and build upon the skills and talents of peers and staff under direct supervision. Candidate should have a clear understanding of child development, current research, trends and emerging early learning systems. Candidate must be adept at adult learning principles and be able to demonstrate this understanding through application.

Candidate must be positive, optimistic, solution-oriented and have excellent computer, verbal and written communication skills. A Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field is required; Masters Degree preferred. Must have a minimum of twelve credit hours in Early Childhood Education, two years experience in an early childhood setting, two years experience in a supervisory role and experience training adults.
