The American Institute for CPCU, an insurance education organization, is looking for an Editorial Production Assistant. The Editorial Production Assistant is responsible for supporting the production and editorial functions of the Print Products Department to help the department accomplish day-to-day tasks and meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities
 Work with Institute study materials, either by proofreading pages at the production stage, reviewing pages of publications whose files have been updated, or reviewing printers’ proofs Perform administrative tasks as assigned. Such tasks are likely to include filing; maintaining department reference documents; communicating with print vendors via e-mail, phone, and fax; preparing jobs to send to print vendors; and entering data for and receiving on purchase orders Track print costs Occasional copy edit Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
 Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; and Internet Strong attention to detail skills
