Early Childhood Head Teacher
Early Childhood Head Teacher position available at infant-toddler child care center. The center, Elizabeth Celotto Child Care Center, is located on-site at Wilbur Cross High School in New Haven and provides full-time quality early childhood education to 32 children of teenage parents who are attending high school. The Celotto Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. This is not a public school position; the Celotto Center is operated by a non-profit organization in existence since 1994.
The Head Teacher is fully responsible for the activities of a classroom of 8 infants and toddlers (mixed-aged grouping).  Responsibilities include but are not limited to supervising and professionally guiding classroom staff, holding weekly team meetings with classroom staff, preparing lesson plans and individual activities and supervising parenting interactions between teenage parents and children.

Qualifications: Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Child Development or Elementary Education. Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
