E-Commerce Marketing Analyst

This position is responsible for developing and supporting all E-commerce marketing efforts, including: SEO (organic search), SEM (paid search), all online advertising, affiliate programs, website management, emerging market opportunities and email marketing.  The candidate will manage program implementation and administration as directed and use spreadsheets, query tools, and web analytic packages to evaluate the effectiveness of internet marketing programs, web functionality, and online web content.

 

Primary Areas of Responsibility Support our search engine marketing programs (SEM) with keyword development, campaign auditing, position analysis, and testing new opportunities in this channel Monitor and report on the results of our organic search (SEO) initiatives Develop forward-thinking strategies for penetrating social networking opportunities Analyze affiliate marketing programs, including validity of leads, and the ROI of current initiatives Prepare weekly site traffic reporting, website activity summaries, and executive dashboards Track marketing expense budgets for all web marketing programs and verify monthly billing from all related vendors Develop and implement reporting to analyze web marketing programs and evaluate web content

Education 4-year BA/BS degree in Marketing Prefer some courses in Statistical Analysis and/or Computer Programming

Experience 1-3 years experience in Internet Marketing or equivalent exposure Prefer experience with Google Analytics and/or other query tools Social networking
