The Company also authors more than 200 print and software titles on test preparation, college and graduate school selection and admissions, and related topics.
JOB SUMMARY: Develop and execute all sales activities for a specified territory; closing business and developing relationships with local schools and corporations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Plan and manage sales activity according to an agreed market development strategy in both retail K-12 and Corporate settingsConsistently meet sales targets on a quarterly basis Adhering to set pricing and margins with the ability to work within these guidelines to put the best proposal together for clientsMaintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate sales methods, and relevant internal liaisons, to optimize quality of service, business growth and customer satisfactionFamiliarity with sales tools and systems, to update relevant information held in the sales database systemsSupport local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescalesIntegrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, i.e.: promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketingRespond to and follow-up sales inquiriesMeet with prospective clients in person as well as conducting phone introductions for new sales opportunities Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
QUALIFICATIONS:College graduate with a minimum of 5 years successful experience with proven resultsStrong communication and polished presentation skillsSolid client services experience with ability to handle upscale clientele graciously and "read the room"Ability to prepare, interpret and present sales reports and market dataDynamic go-getter with ability to multi-task and run multiple aspects of a rapidly growing officeKnowledge of College and Graduate School admissions policies a plus but not a requirement
