Description:Southeastern Career Institute-Dallas Campus seeks an Assistant Director of Education who will contribute to the fulfillment of educational goals through direct educational planning, staff leadership, and educational programs guidance. Your direct reports will be the Program Coordinators, Registrar, Director of Student Services, and Instructors. We are a leading for-profit education and career services company, providing post-secondary education at over 70 campuses across the nation. What you will do:oAssist in program development, curricula development, and training, and budget responsibilities. oMaintain positive student retention and ensure a quality educational experience for our students. oBecome an integral contributor with respect to long range campus planning and develop metrics for evaluation of outcomes. oParticipate in instructor training, observation, and evaluation. oEnsure compliance with state Department of Education, accreditation. regulations and policies.Qualifications:Primary Requirements:- Two or more years of management or supervisory experience as an Assistant/Associate Director of Education for an accredited Proprietary Education School.OR- Two consecutive years experience as a Program Chair within an accredited Proprietary Education School in the fields of Allied Health, Criminal Justice or Information TechnologySecondary Requirements;oThe highest levels of integrity at all timesoPersuasive communication skills, with an orientation toward results oAbility to multi-task in a fast paced environment oAn ongoing customer focus oMasters degree in a field of education and teaching experience or in progress a BIG PLUSSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceBenefits available for those who qualify include:oImmediate health and dental plans, oSick days, holidays, and vacation days, o401(k) Plan oFlexible Spending Account, oLife and Business Travel Accident Insurance, oLong-term Disability oGroup Legal Services, oFinancial planning.Job Location: Dallas, TXJob Number: RUSAKAP7231-612674Company URL: http://www.khec.comCompany Profile:Kaplan Higher Education (www.khec.com), is a division of Kaplan, Inc (www.kaplan.com), and The Washington Post Company (NYSE: WPO).
