Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving
Haverford College seeks a proven leader to manage and inspire a team of staff and volunteers who will engage alumni, parents, and friends in the life of the College in order to advance its educational mission. He/she is a senior member of the Institutional Advancement team and has frequent interaction with the Board of Managers, the President and his Senior Administration, the faculty, and alumni leaders and donors around the world. He/she leads a program that seamlessly combines alumni programming and the College's annual effort to secure unrestricted support that totals five to ten percent of Haverford's annual operating budget.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least five years of progressively responsible management experience in a not-for-profit environment. He/she must have a proven track record in non-profit constituent relations; fundraising experience is essential. He/she should have recent and relevant annual giving experience.
