Hesser College Salem Campus Director of Admissions Principal Responsibilities Summary: The Director of Admissions partners with the Executive Director/School President, Regional VP of Admissions & Marketing, Advertising Manager and the National Admissions Office to achieve start goals and admissions objectives. The Director of Admissions supervises, monitors, and analyzes admissions team performance; identifies performance trends and opportunities; delivers individual and team feedback through coaching and training to assist the school in meeting and/or exceeding starts, revenue goals and strategic objectives. The Director of Admissions works closely with and supports other school departments to assure that new students receive exceptional service. Typical activities and goals for a Director of Admissions: Ensure that the admissions department operates within prescribed regulations and standardized Kaplan student recruitment procedures · Achieve monthly and annual start goals · Accurately forecast starts weekly for current and upcoming starts Manage to the school's marketing plan by Admissions Divisions, i.e. High School, Adult, and Distance · Manage admissions performance and activities to achieve run rate goals. Maintain Admissions Rep staffing at budgeted plan Collaborate with RVP of Admissions for all admissions hires. Recruit and hire all admissions personnel Seek review and approval from Executive Director/School President and Admissions RVP on all admissions terminations Provide feedback to Executive Director/School President and Admissions RVP on performance improvement plans and/or progressive discipline Review and monitor weekly/monthly automated reports to evaluate performance versus goals, and identify and analyze performance trends Monitor weekly/monthly lead flow and lead category conversions, including PDL generation/conversion by rep Analyze data, identify trends, and prepare proactive action plans by rep to improve performance where needed Ensure local Campus Vue data entry follows established policies and procedures enhancing overall data integrity Participate in weekly/monthly advertising calls to review lead generation, monthly spending, lead conversions and strategic advertising plans · Participate in the development, review, and analysis of annual operating budget and marketing plan as it relates to sales and achieving start goals · Plan, manage and execute enrollment events designed to achieve or exceed run rates Manage the Admissions Coordinator and front desk to ensure front desk coverage, excellent customer service to prospective students, lead data entry, distribution and tracking Conduct regular training and feedback with all admissions staff to improve performance Prepare and deliver effective new rep training & follow up at the school level Conduct monthly goal setting and performance assessment, as well as bi-annual reviews for all representatives Conduct regular appointment setting & interview observations of reps Provide timely observation feedback and training to help the rep develop and improve Track and monitor performance improvements based on feedback and training Conduct weekly admissions training meetings designed with key topics that share best practices, improve performance, motivate the team, educate on product knowledge and new program roll outs etc · Conduct weekly accountability meetings to ensure that new students are prepared prior to starting school· Prepare and participate in weekly calls with RVP of Admissions to review prior week performance versus goal · Develop and implement motivational techniques designed to improve performance and boost morale· Implement agreed upon action items resulting from RVP of Admissions periodic visits/calls Implement National Admissions or KHEC pilots/rollouts or standardization objectives Serve as a member of the school's executive team · Other duties as assigned Experience Required:· 3+ years of admissions management experience· Adept in Microsoft Office
