DEVELOPMENT
Westmoreland County Community College is seeking a qualified full-time Director for Workforce & Economic Development to manage the workforce development staff and oversee the WEDnetPA program, workforce education training and development programs, and the workforce distance learning programs. Also responsible for establishing relationships with the regional economic development agencies, workforce investment boards, WEDnetPA and regional business and industry. Requires master's degree in related field with preference given to organizational development and/or training/development; 4 yrs related work exp in business and adult learning; understanding of the management process; prior supervisory exp; knowledge of microcomputers; PA Child Abuse History Clearance and PA Criminal Record Check Clearance, basic employment verification, national criminal database search and five panel drug screen.
