Direct Mail Sales Position
This is a specialized niche environment requiring knowledge of the direct mailing industry and/or specialized education knowledge of the print industry environment as it relates to the direct mailing industry and is located in Rochester, NY. This is a full-time, on-site position; remote location is not an option. The mission is to take all aspects of mailing industry-related educational materials, products and services to new and exciting levels of access and availability. 

Responsibilities
The candidate’s primary responsibilities are focused on enhancing the growth of the education department; to sell and promote the education products and services of The Bennett Group, Inc. This includes building, maintaining, and sharing his/her expertise in postal education products and services; developing and implementing key sales tools and presentations; training and mentoring internal team members; and marketing directly to significant printing and mailing clients. The candidate must have the ability to combine his/her sales experience in order to provide innovative and workable alternatives and solutions to meet the client mailing education goals. The incumbent must have the ability to combine his/her risk management and sales expertise via WAR* reports to meet monthly and quarterly sales goals. In addition to being able to identify potential clients, the incumbent must also work with their supervisor to identify potential clients and convert their interest to meet established goals. Salary is commensurate with experience.
*WAR = Weekly Activity Reports.

Requirements
This position requires a Bachelors degree in business or related field with a minimum 3-5 yrs experience in direct mail expertise with an emphasis on the education aspects. The incumbent must have advanced knowledge of the workings of the US Postal Service; financial goal setting; excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, problem solving analytical and negotiating skills. In addition this position will be working in a team environment. As a result, the incumbent must demonstrate effective team building and team processing skills. A working knowledge of various business/financial software applications are a plus.
