DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL AID

DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL AID Defiance College seeks a Director of Financial Aid to direct and manage all aspects of the financial aid office. The Director is an integral part of the Enrollment Management team. Responsibilities include ensuring that all financial aid processes are administered in compliance with state, federal, and private fund regulations; administration of all student financial aid assistance programs; processing of required reports; supervision; and student advising and counseling. Must hold bachelor's degree; prefer prior experience in financial aid with a comprehensive knowledge of federal and state financial aid programs and regulations. Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills; highly technical computer skills; familiarity with automated information systems; and the ability to respond professionally in sensitive situations.
