Community Relations Specialist - Chicago Public Schools

Job Purpose:

Maintains and advances community relations by establishing relationships and recruiting students and parents for our afterschool tutoring program. 

Duties:

* Recruits parents and students to attend after school tutoring at their schools; participates in focus groups;

 

* Must have solid community ties to local schools, parents and community members.  * Resolves community issues by collecting relevant information;

* Promotes the program by working with members of the public and specific community groups on projects that enhance the focus, objectives, and image of the company.* Enhances community relations and reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
