Clinical Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary/Basic Function:
Serve as part of the clinical team in the Counseling Service at Wellesley College providing direct clinical and emergency services to Wellesley College students, and consultation to the college community at large. Provide clinical training and education in psychotherapy to practicum and internship level students in graduate schools for psychology and social work. Participate in the after hours on-call rotation, summer on-call rotation schedule, and work in collaboration with the Division of Student life. Schedule: 35 hours per week, 9 months per year
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed Clinical Nurse Practitioner and Mental Health Provider in the state of MA. Experience with the psychological experiences of college students and with brief treatment. Must be able to assess risk and intervene independently and effectively in a timely fashion and able to work effectively in a diverse community. Interest and/or expertise in women's issues, cross-cultural counseling, and familiarity with the work of the Stone Center.
