We are actively seeking an innovative educational leader who will be responsible for all aspects of the school program.  The Principal will report directly to the school’s Board of Trustees and will work with the board to develop and implement a shared vision and strategic direction for the school.  The principal will work extensively with a wide range of stakeholders to advance the interests of the school in the community and provide an outstanding learning environment for NUAMES students, faculty, and staff.

The goal of NUAMES is to provide a premier early college program aimed at providing Utah and the U.S. with its next generation of engineers, mathematicians and scientists.  We are in the early stages of developing the appropriate educational environment and curriculum and are seeking a Principal who can work proactively with our constituents to create a world-class charter school for our students.  In partnership with Weber State University, we are committed to providing the facilities, courses, faculty, and other resources necessary for the school to reach its full potential.  Strategic direction and school governance are provided by a Board of Trustees composed of technically astute industry and community leaders and highly motivated parental support. The successful candidate will be given broad latitude to create an exciting learning environment that attracts students interested in seeking careers in science, mathematics, and engineering.  We believe this is a unique opportunity to create a model charter school that leads the state and the nation in preparing students for these fields.
