Certified Teachers and Exp Tutors Wanted
TestQuest Inc. is a leading provider of home tutoring and educational services throughout New York City. We work with numerous schools and social service agencies delivering teachers and tutors homes across the city. Becoming a tutor with TestQuest is a tough but rewarding job. We are looking for highly dedicated, motivated, and responsible individuals who are passionate about helping children succeed. All tutoring will occur in the students’ home. TestQuest provides 40 hours of FREE individual tutoring in students' homes located in Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn Staten Island and Queens during the academic year as a No Child Left behind Approved Vendor.
Assignments are available for students in grade levels K-12th grade
We offer the following programs FREE to students:
1. English Language Arts
2. Mathematics
3. ELA/Math - Combined Program
4. Test Prep
Requirements are as follows: Strong educational background, college degree, experience working with children, knowledge of using curriculum to improve student’s grade level, teaching certification is preferred but not mandatory and finally a responsible caring person with great passion for education.
TestQuest provides Teachers/Tutors with curriculum and there is a moderate paperwork requirement as part of the job responsibilities.
Our rates for non-certified teachers who take 1:1 assignments in a home-based environment is $15.00 hourly
The Pay rate for certified teachers who take 1:1 assignments is $20.00 hourly
TestQuest will have hundreds of assignments in the five boroughs that will be available for the up coming school year!
