Career Services Specialists or Director - Ontario

Would you like to make a career of helping other people start theirs?

American Career College (ACC) has been helping people succeed for 30 years, and we are currently recruiting for a full time and part time Career Services Specialist and a Director for our Ontario Campus.  This is an outstanding opportunity for a service oriented individual to help students begin their new careers.

You will rely on your abilities as a Job Developer, Recruiter or Career Services Representative as you successfully place students into healthcare jobs.  Your coaching skills will be needed to assist students with professional development, including resume writing and interviewing techniques.  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will be needed to conduct Career Services workshops and to work closely with prospective employers to develop jobs.  To be really successful in this environment, you’ll use your ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, while still providing high quality and a great attention to detail.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be an individual who has a minimum of two (2) years to three (3) of related experience  or a minimum of three years experience in a complex and responsible business office as support for one or more managers in recruiting or employment environment.  An Associates degree in education, administration, business management, student personnel, or related field preferred for a specialist, and a current Driver’s License is REQUIRED.  Although not absolutely necessary, the successful candidate would benefit from experience in a vocational school as well as knowledge of the health care industry.

Your daily reward will be the personal satisfaction of having a chance to make a difference to yourself, your team, and to a group of students who expect an outstanding education and career.  Your other rewards will include great co-workers, a competitive compensation, and a benefits package that includes a matching 401(k) plan.

If you want a career, not a job, check out our website at (www.americancareer.com).  Then send your resume to hr@americancareer.com .  Also include your COMPENSATION REQUIREMENTS or history.  Please reference Career Services Specialist in the subject line.

ACC is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically-diverse population.
