Everest College – Anaheim, CA  General Duties: Identify potential employers that match the educational background of our students. Prepare students and graduates for their job search and offer any necessary assistance. Teach career development and employer expectation subjects. Setup and administer mock interviews. Work with students to develop resumes and interview skills. Implement outreach activities with prospective employers that assist in creating new career opportunities for students. Assist in all externship duties as assigned. Requirements: Necessary academic credentials and work related experience in Medical Assisting & Medical Insurance Billing and Coding as mandated by the Company, State accreditation agencies, and any other regulatory agency that monitors compliance. A minimum 2 years’ practical work experience or equivalent training in Medical Assisting & Medical Insurance Billing and Coding. Light outside sales & marketing experience and/or skills Employment agency staffing/account assistance preferred. Must be comfortable with accountability and cultivating new employment opportunities Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills Knowledge of the medical field and experience in acquiring job orders is a BIG PLUS Understanding of career opportunities in Medical Assisting, Medical Insurance Billing and Coding, Massage Therapy, Pharmacy Technician, Dental Assisting or Vocational Nursing highly desirable.
