Texas Careers-San Antonio Campus seeks a Career Services Advisor who will contribute to the fulfillment of educational goals through direct educational planning, staff leadership, and educational programs guidance. Required responsibilities and job duties include, but are not limited to the following: Â·  Provide assistance to TC students with employment opportunities.·  Develop job orders from employers, send graduates’ resumes, assist in scheduling interviews, and follow up with employers and graduates.·  Develop and maintain relationships with employers for the purposes of externship/internship and job placement of graduates.·  Organize job fairs on campus, attend outside job fairs, invite employers to speak in classrooms, and arrange on-campus interviews.·  Meet with students one-on-one to determine job interests.·  Provide resources to students and graduates for their job search.·  Timely completion and submission of all required reports for campus Director of Career Services.·  Participate in new student orientations and attend graduate commencement ceremonies.·  Assist in-school students in finding part-time employment.  Qualifications:· Bachelor degree recommended.  · Experience in career services preferred or employment background in any of the following: job placement at a vocational school, college, or university; staffing agency; recruiter; government sponsorship agency; or marketing/sales.  · Must have demonstrable organizational skills.  · Individual must possess strong oral and written communication proficiency.  · Position requires exceptional social interaction skills.  · Consistently display the highest levels of integrity.  · Ability to prioritize, multi-task, perform well under pressure, meet deadlines, and work flexible schedule.  · Must be professional in all aspects of the position including appearance, demeanor, and attitude. · Strong Knowledge of MS Office is required · Experience using Campus Vue is a plus.
