Assistant Professor of English
 Merrimack College is a selective, independent four-year Catholic college offering liberal arts, business, science, and engineering programs within a residential setting. The English department seeks an Assistant Professor, tenure-track, of Modern and Contemporary American Literature. A Ph. D. in English with specialization in Modern and Contemporary American Literature. We seek candidates with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship. Successful candidate will teach upper-level courses in Modern and Contemporary American Literature (including poetry) as well as lower-level American literature survey, introductory literature, and first-year composition courses. Teaching load is three 4-credit courses per semester.Â
