Assistant Operations Manager-Gainesville
Description:The Assistant Operations Manager will be responsible to assist in managing the day-to-day operations which include advising and enrolling students, human resources, accounting, compliance, facilities and technology for Kaplans Gainesville Center. The Assistant Operations Manager will drive operating income, contribute to the top line through consultative selling, and deliver on revenue goals that contribute to the growth of Kaplans business.Responsibilities: Closely work with Operations Manager on all aspect of center operations. Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of center staff. Conduct presentations to prospective and enrolled students. Assist with compliance, including communicating with national operations to disseminate information and provide feedback regarding policies and processes. Coordinate with center personnel, the corporate office, and customers to evaluate and meet service and performance goals. Provide enthusiastic, hands-on customer service. Assist with managing the center facility, including technology. Assist with billing, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Assist in the planning and execution of Kaplan's business growth including class starts, and marketing events.Requirements: Bachelors Degree 1 or more years experience in operations, sales or comparable area of management Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and leadership skills Excellent computer skills, including Excel Strong problem solving and decision-making capabilities; strong analytical skills Good organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to handle a variety of details.
