Assistant Director of Financial Aid

Description:DescriptionAssistant Director of Financial Aid Heres an opportunity for you to become a part of our team, as our Assistant Director of Financial Aid (ADFA). The ADFA reports to the Director of Financial Aid (DFA) or Director of Finance (DOF) of the college and is an important member of the management team. This position is responsible to assist in the direction, coordination, and accountability of the financial aid staff. The ADFA works closely with the DFA or DOF to recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure compliance with financial aid regulatory requirements as it pertains to federal, state, accrediting agencies and the Home Office; and coordinates activities and teamwork with the staff in conjunction with the admissions process. This position will be responsible for administering, determining eligibility and processing student financial aid to maintain positive cash flow for the college.Qualifications:RequirementsThe qualified candidate should have at least 2 years experience in Title IV federal student financial aid; proficiency in verification and student eligibility criteria, excellent customer service skills, is organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task. Management experience is a plus. Computer knowledge is recommended, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Compensation is based on current earnings and experience, and is open for discussion.
