Admissions Counselor - Career School

DESCRIPTION We are looking for a dynamic, experienced Admissions professional to help drive rapid growth at our flagship school in Orange, CT. Our school offers programs in Allied Health, Paralegal Studies and Accounting. You will report directly to the Campus President and can expect rapid advancement and increasing responsibility if you earn it. RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Participate in setting goals and targets for the Admissions Department. 2) Responsible for the entire enrollment process, including handling incoming information requests, setting appointments and enrolling students 3) Actively participate in marketing, advertising and outreach efforts 4) As a key staff member you will need to interact effectively with Financial Aid, Marketing and all other departments. REQUIREMENTS 1) Bachelor’s Degree Preferred 2) MUST have 3+ years admissions experience in a career college environment 3) Must be able to demonstrate track record of success in admissions & recruiting. Excellent closing skills 4) Excellent communication, organization and people management skills 5) Must be goal and results-oriented 6) Need to be able to keep a flexible work schedule and to enjoy working in a fast-paced, high growth environment. 7) Must be a team player – must work well with others, be willing to wear several hats, and do what’s necessary to get the job done We offer a competitive compensation package, a supportive, professional work environment and excellent career growth prospects.
